Very much looking forward to this. I'm particularly interested in how predictably controllable it's going to be. Could you, for instance, pull off a repeat performance of the example (within reason) with little trouble, or is it mainly random city?
I'm asking mainly because I'm wondering if the plug is geared more towards being a (predictably) playable performance instrument, or a stochastic beat generator.
hey I'll lay some coin down if it'll get this out faster. seriously I've come across so many places looking for a plug-in like this and only getting a fraction of what I need which is what this awesome stutter cycle sound will do for my projects.
Wicked - I made something like this in Generator but you just loaded in a smaple & it split it into 16 bits & used a midi controller to select the 'slice' I conjunction with Seq303 it was pretty cool 'cause you could just randomize everything.
very cool sounds comeing out of that second example. finaly a plugin with great pitch shifting controles. im very excited to load this into my fruityloops. any guessses as to when your gonna have it out? sorry, not trying to be an ass, im just very excited to mess with this. ive been checking the site and comments everyday..haha, thanks for your time btw, i know its very time consumeing and tireing to program your own instruments.

it's still controllable but at a slightly more human rate :)
think of granular synthesis, you can't control everything so fast.
all the examples I've posted here are not static, it's all done live without any automation.
But I understand that more than control, repeatability is important and I will let people reset the random seed.
however It won't be able to reproduce or freeze the last phrase you just heared, just start in the same state.
If you want total control and predictability you can still render to file and just use it as a generator.

THese plugs seem to be the one i search since a long time.
Could you tell us when you think there will be the first release cause i can't wait anymore to use these crazy plugs.

No release date yet, features are not freezed.
Maybe before August but I can't promise.
However I can tell you that the AudioUnit port is advancing quickly.

holy crap. this tool opens up all sorts of possibilities (first on my list - countless drum edits i can "sing" but haven't had the patience to create.
props to any tools that gets the musician closer to the music.
