Livecut 1.0 is on its way

I'm working on the next version of livecut. It will have a brand new interface and the most important, it will have a timeline display of what's actually happening inside the beast.

live cut is great but you should add a time stretch as in glitch vst is it would be the plugin best!!!!

At Friday, 06 July, 2007, Blogger jonathan said...

and to do it for mac ub, which does not exist for glitch vst :(

Wow, I hope this gives db Glitch a run for its money! We've been needing something similar on OS X for too long!

At Thursday, 25 October, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Thanks ! I love this plug !

At Tuesday, 30 October, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

any word on this? would definitely pay for something similar to DBLue glitch on the mac. Donation or otherwise

At Friday, 09 November, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I posted the comment on 17/10/2007, first suggesting any hopeful comparsions to dbGlitch.

I'd like to reiterate the sentiment as said on 30/10/2007. I would gladly pay or donate for something that was AS good as or BETTER than dbGlitch, but able to be run on the Mac.

Why dBlue himself hasnt offered the same option is beyond me. Yes, porting to Mac would take work, but SURELY payment would cover these efforts.

Perhaps it is not about the money but soley just for the good of the community. Unfortunately, it's unavailability for the Mac does no good for a fairly large sized community! Simply put, our willingness to pay should reinforce the fact that SOMETHING like it should be available for the Mac community.

Please HELP us out!

I know there are technical problems (it's made with Delphi) for the porting of Glitch to mac. And you're not the only to ask. It's not only about money.

As for the next version of livecut it goes slowly but it's on the rails... patience, patience I know... :)

that's all I can say (It's not about money for either, I already have a full time job which I'm very happy with)

Check out Major Malfunction for Mac users....

At Tuesday, 18 December, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

No offense, but Major Malfunction is kind of whack. They charge for a plugin that is buggy at times and quite "tingy" in its sound, as it is written in Max/MSP (great for control, ok at best for its "sound"). It behaves worse than its competition that is actually for free.

Save the cash and wait for LC2.

I love the idea behind this VST, its just a shame the current version sends long clips of silence into my DAW. That said, I am always checking in on the site to see if V 1.0 is out . i am looking forward to its release. Cant wait to try V 1.0 out strapped onto glitch to make some mind blowing breaks !

Any news for Livecut?

programmability is key.
"random" and "probability" driven stuff is not very useful for music.
step sequencing of fx like glitch 1.3 is cool. if you have other innovative ideas the great! but programmability first please. precision is key.
give me a reason to drop the scissors tool...

Great description, M!

Laughing my chairs off here 'cuz that's just what it takes to make it killer!! "... what's actually happening inside the beast." hahahahhahahha

we're nerdz (and proud of it), but we have a good time!!!

Now for the dude said it's the shit, take back what you said or i'll slice your punk ass like a fully tweaked Livecut... its the BOMB man!!

At Thursday, 12 June, 2008, Anonymous Anonymous said...

live cut is not crap, but the syncro of edits on the beat has a tendency sometimes be random, being able to have a time line to lay the edits will be a plus, which would also tres bien east of resyncroniser the power bpm songs including that it is variable thank you for the work ahead.
