Modus audio sample

I've made this little example very quickly playing a midifile of chick corea and then playing with the presets and the parameters
I know it clips from time to time. hear it now.

You're lucky, I'm working on yet another synth.
This time its based on modal synthesis.
i.e. an excitator + some resonators.
it can do percussive sounds like dmihammer but I've managed to get some interresting sounds using sutained/chaotic/random excitators.
I need to work on it a little more to make something really usable in real life, but it looks promising.
